But here's the truth: not all momme claims are honest. Some lower-quality suppliers measure silk weight before finishing the fabric, leading to inflated or misleading momme counts. Yes, POSHEY™ silk pillowcases are machine washable, but they require proper care to preserve their beauty and benefits.

🧼 Washing Instructions:
Always use a pH-neutral detergent specifically labeled for silk or delicates. Harsh or overly acidic/alkaline cleaners can damage silk in a single wash.

Wash in cold water (or max 30°C / 85°F). Heat can cause silk to shrink, stiffen, or lose its sheen.

Use a delicates bag if your machine has an aggressive drum.

Hand washing is best if you want to maximize longevity and keep the silk’s luxurious glide.
